My Journey with Art

Art has been a part of my life for as far as I can remember.
My parents have always encouraged it, and my mom adores arts and crafts. Even today, when my dad sees me painting, he motivates me to keep improving, often mentioning that he wishes he could paint.
I began drawing as a kid. This love for drawing developed into a love for sketching as I entered second grade.
But I was afraid of painting. What if the paints ruined my sketches? I couldn't bear to think of the consequences. So, I always shied away from touching paints.
That was until the tenth grade, when I tried out my hand at acrylic canvas painting. With the help of my amazing art teachers at school, my love for sketching translated into a love for painting.
And this transformed itself into a fascination with colors, perspective, and creativity.
That's where photography came into the picture. More opportunity for experimentation!
And, voilà.
Art has been that one constant for which I have been recognized. It's been a whirlwind of a journey with both stagnation and improvement. But I now know that I wouldn't ever want that journey to stop.
